Dear Friend of Fieldstone,

Since our founding in 2017, Fieldstone has been dependent and reliant on God’s grace to us through the generous giving of our donors and supporters like you! Many of you might not be aware, but Fieldstone’s initial founding was propelled through the generosity of six families who gathered together in a supporter’s home to hear the mission and vision of Fieldstone.

It was from the gifts of those six families that Fieldstone began seeing people in August of 2017, and the rest is history, as they say. Crystal Kershaw, our former Director of Strategic Initiatives, helped lead the way in building and forging strategic partnerships and relationships with many of you. When she stepped away in 2024, we knew we had a massive gap to fill in our team.

In 2024, we partnered with a donor development consultant to help us do a deep dive into our fundraising, donor relationships, and most importantly help us look for a new Donor Development Coordinator. In late December, we began conversations with a candidate and finalized his hiring at the beginning of 2025. 

I’m pleased to announce the newest member of Fieldstone’s staff, Jason Severance. Jason brings a heart and passion for Fieldstone’s mission and vision along with a keen desire to connect and expand our relationships with donors across the country and globe.

1. Pray for Jason Severance as he takes on this new role. Pray for wisdom and guidance as he dives into Fieldstone and learns more about you! I know that he would treasure any opportunities to connect and meet you personally.
2. Pray for our counselors and counselees. Fieldstone is currently open and eager to see new counselees. Our wait list is at a historic low, and we are able to get most people matched with a counselor in an expeditious amount of time. Please send any interested people to our website, which just got a new, refreshed look.
