Monday, June 1
Fieldstone will be gradually re-opening our counseling office locations beginning with Fieldstone Green on June 15. In-person appointments will be scheduled at the discretion of each individual counselor and based on each counselee’s availability and needs. Please contact your counselor directly to discuss how you will proceed for upcoming appointments.
Thorough protocols are being implemented and executed at Fieldstone Green to ensure the safety of counselees who will be returning for in-person appointments. Information about what is required for counselees in-person appointments can be found on our website. We want you to know that we care about your safety in this process and we look forward to getting to meet face to face again.
Friday, April 3
Fieldstone Counseling will remain open and complete all counseling sessions remotely using secure, HIPAA compliant platforms (Google Hangouts + Doxy.Me). In recognition of the changing nature of the current crisis we cannot estimate when we will be able to re-open our physical locations. We pray that this will be soon and we look forward in eager expectation to the time when it is safe and wise to meet in person again. We are grateful for our remote platforms that enable us to continue our care for those who are hurting during a crisis like this.
A FEW WORDS OF REMINDER
Thursday, March 12
In light of the recent news conference from Governor Mike DeWine (March 12, 2pm) Fieldstone Counseling will be closing all of its office locations in Northeast Ohio for a minimum of 2 weeks beginning Monday, March 16. All counseling sessions will be transferred to remote counseling via a video-chat service. Fieldstone counselees will still be able to participate in their counseling sessions remotely, schedule new sessions, and receive gospel-centered care during this global pandemic.
Your counselor will be reaching out regarding the rescheduling of your sessions. If you have any questions, please email us at office@fieldstonecounseling.org. We ask in advance for your patience and understanding during this season of uncertainty and transition.
Wednesday, March 11
Dear Friend of Fieldstone,
Yesterday afternoon Ohio Governor Mike DeWine provided an update on the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation in our state with the support of the Ohio Department of Health.
Fieldstone Counseling is currently monitoring communication coming from both the governor’s office and the Ohio Department of Health. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Household Planning Checklist has provided a valuable reference tool for help in preparing for this situation.
For those who are receiving counseling at one of Fieldstone’s four office locations, please note the following:
Fieldstone Counseling will continue to communicate with counselees and supporters through our newsletter and will post updates on the website and Facebook/Instagram/Twitter pages. If you are a Fieldstone counselee and your contact information has changed, please email the front office at office@fieldstonecounseling.org to ensure we have the most up to date information.
Counselee and counselor health are of utmost importance. We will continue to provide updates as additional guidance from federal, state and local government agencies becomes available. The difficult decisions, planning and precautionary steps taken now are in an abundance of caution. We are committed to taking difficult but necessary preemptive and precautionary measures. We are committed to the communication of facts, as they are made available to us.
Lastly, please pray for those around the world who have been infected and affected by COVID- 19, that the Gospel would be believed as people are confronted with the fragility of life and the hope of new life in the Lord Jesus.
Thank you for your prayers and support,
Fieldstone Counseling Team
