Beth Claes

Beth is a Christ-follower who loves to share the hope of the gospel through counseling. She is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Roberts Wesleyan College and is currently working on her biblical counseling certification through CCEF. Beth has been in the field of psychology for over a decade, and has wrestled quite a bit with the limitations of secular therapy. She loves how Christ changes hearts and lives, and desires to help people who are hurting know Him more deeply. She is appreciative of the great tools found in psychology, but has found that nothing comes close to the healing and hope we are given in Christ and the power of His Word. Beth is a licensed psychologist, but does not utilize her license in her counseling at Fieldstone.

She has previously been in private practice, provided biblical counseling through her church, and has also written for The Gospel Coalition. Beth is married to her husband Nathan and has three children—Miriam, Eli, and Owen. When she has downtime, she is often found going on hikes with her family, drinking a good cup of coffee, reading, and writing.
