Ian Tully

ABOUT

Ian joined the Fieldstone Counseling team after completing his Master's Practicum and Residency with the Boston Center for Biblical Counseling (BCBC). He has counseled formally and informally for over ten years with a specific passion for those suffering, confused, and disoriented. With a Bachelor's from the University of Florida in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology, Ian is passionate about engaging the wonderfully designed physical body and the actively worshipful soul.

Having suffered from panic attacks and depression, Ian was drawn to biblical counseling after receiving care from a kind and tender therapist while in college. He pursued and graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary with a Master's in Counseling in 2021, followed by working for the BCBC. His best days are when he has the opportunity to walk alongside people who are wrestling through the difficulties of life. He is zealous to care for others, seeking to listen and understand their stories and then engaging with the living God of Scripture who listens and acts. It is a profound privilege of his to be used by the Holy Spirit to embody the love of Christ for others.

Ian married his best friend Kristen in 2017. Together, they have a toddler son who enjoys nothing more than eating, playing hide-n-seek, and eating some more. When the Tullys aren't exploring new restaurants in the Raleigh/Durham area, you can find Ian deep in an epic fantasy novel or reading "Dragons Love Tacos" for the 37th time to his son.
