Joseph has over fifteen years of ministry experience, providing soul care to various age groups as an education pastor, youth pastor, and associate pastor. As a minister of the gospel he has helped people struggling with pornography, addictions, anxiety, and depression. He is the author of Learning to Listen: Essential Skills for Every Counselor, and is a regular contributor to the Biblical Counseling Coalition blog.
Because of his love of one-to-one ministry and soul care, Joseph has his MDiv in Christian ministry and DMin in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Currently, Joseph teaches in his local church and in his free time you can find him reading, writing, hanging out with his family, or writing music.
