Karen is passionate about coming alongside people, humbly helping them discover who they've been created to be. There is nothing quite like seeing the look in a person's eyes when the Spirit of God applies the Word of God to their heart, empowering them to embrace the transforming work of God's grace. Karen is familiar with a number of life's hardships, and firmly believes that the grace and comfort with which God has blessed her is to be poured out for others.
In addition to her Fieldstone Counseling experience, Karen has also served in various roles of discipling, coaching and overseeing ministry leaders. Karen has furthered her training with additional courses from The Global Trauma Recovery Institute and holds a Level 2 Certification with the Christian Trauma Healing Network. Additionally, Karen has served as a Recitation Instructor for CCEF in their School of Biblical Counseling.
Karen and her husband have been married for over three decades and are parents to one daughter. As empty-nesters they spend their free time enjoying cooking, traveling, hiking and any other outdoor activity.
