Lauren considers it a privilege to walk alongside others through difficult seasons, pointing them towards Jesus, our Wonderful Counselor. In the spirit of 2 Corinthians 1:3-7, she approaches counseling with the conviction that while suffering is a normal part of life in a fallen world, real hope is possible through Christ. Having seen the Lord work powerfully through counseling in her own life and the lives of others, Lauren is passionate about extending the same comfort she has received from God to those she counsels. With gentleness and wisdom, she aims to offer practical, biblical care. Lauren loves relational ministry, drawing out of the depths of the heart, and the opportunity to enter into people’s lives with compassion and truth.
Lauren and her husband live near State College, PA, where they serve in campus ministry at Penn State. She enjoys traveling — with the goal of visiting every U.S. National Park — along with watercoloring, long walks, and thrifting.
